On May 30, eight Crédit Agricole Regional Banks (Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan, Côtes d’Armor, Finistère, Touraine-Poitou, Centre-Loire, Centre Ouest and Val de France) signed a partnership agreement with OKwind, the French leader in self-consumption of energy for professionals, based in Torcé, near Vitré.
Accelerating the energy transition
The main objective of the agreement between OKwind and the 8 regional banks is to facilitate the environmental transition of the players in each region. Trained in OKwind’s solutions, Crédit Agricole’s teams will offer comprehensive, personalized support by providing all the expertise needed to finance this type of project. “Faced with the environmental emergency, we must accelerate the transitions underway, particularly in the energy sector. The real changes will come from complete ecosystems, which, in addition to the solution, will include the financing of these transitions. The link we are creating today with the 8 Crédit Agricole Regional Banks is a major step in this energy revolution, which has become necessary from both an environmental and economic point of view,” explains Louis Maurice, Founder and Chairman of OKwind.
